Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 02 November 2025 (Version 2.1)

These terms apply to both Solaris (salon services) and Lunaris (press-on nail orders).

Solaris Booking Terms (Salon Services)

By booking an appointment with The Nail Eclipse Club (Solaris), you agree to these terms and conditions.

Appointments: All services are by appointment only. We aim to confirm your booking within 24 hours of submission.

Arrival: Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals (15+ minutes) may result in shortened service time or rescheduling to accommodate other clients.

Studio access: Our salon operates from a home with stair-only access to the service area (kitchen). As an alternative, we can arrange home visits. Home visits within 1 mile of our address (SK3 0BS) are provided at no extra cost. Visits beyond 1 mile may incur additional travel charges. If you have any accessibility concerns or requirements, please contact us before booking so we can discuss the best arrangement for you.

Solaris Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Notice required: Please provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Late cancellations: Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in loss of deposit (where applicable).

No-shows: If you miss your appointment without notice, you may be required to pay a deposit for future bookings.

How to reschedule: Contact me via WhatsApp, email (mrshilly.k@gmail.com), or phone (07399 478002) to reschedule. I'll do my best to find a time that works for you.

Deposits & Payment

Deposit requirement: Some services may require a deposit to secure your booking. The deposit amount will be clearly stated when booking.

Non-refundable: Deposits are non-refundable but will be deducted from your final service cost.

Payment methods: We accept cash, card, and bank transfer. Full payment is due at the end of your appointment.

Pricing: Prices listed on our website are current at the time of publication but may be subject to change. You'll always be quoted the final price before your appointment is confirmed.

Removal of Work from Other Technicians

Effective immediately: The Nail Eclipse Club does not offer the removal or infill of work applied by another salon or technician.

Due to the wide variation in products, brands, and application methods used elsewhere, it is not possible to guarantee a safe or effective removal process without risking damage to the natural nail.

All appointments at The Nail Eclipse Club must be performed on a clean, product-free natural nail unless the existing product was applied here during a prior appointment.

Booking compliance: If a client books an appointment and arrives with any product applied by another salon or technician, the service will not be carried out, and the booking deposit will be retained.

This policy is in place to protect both the client's nail health and the professional standards of The Nail Eclipse Club.

Clients are advised to ensure all existing product has been safely removed by the original technician before attending their appointment.

This policy applies to all enhancement and gel services, including but not limited to builder gel, builder gel, acrylic, hard gel, and gel polish.

User-Generated Content (UGC) Consent

Photography: With your consent, I may photograph your finished nails to showcase my work on social media and my website portfolio.

Consent is optional: You are never required to give UGC consent to receive services. You can opt out at any time during booking or at your appointment.

Withdrawal of consent: If you've previously consented but wish to have your images removed, contact me at mrshilly.k@gmail.com and I'll remove them within 7 days.

Health & Safety

Hygiene standards: All tools are thoroughly sanitised between clients. I follow strict hygiene protocols to ensure your safety.

Allergies & sensitivities: Please inform me of any allergies or sensitivities before your appointment. While I'll do my best to accommodate, I cannot guarantee allergy-free products.

Contraindications: I reserve the right to refuse service if there are signs of infection, open wounds, or other conditions that could pose a health risk.

Age requirement: Services are available for clients aged 16 and over.

Service Expectations

Results: While I strive for perfection, nail art results may vary based on your natural nail condition, lifestyle, and aftercare.

Longevity: Gel polish typically lasts 2-3 weeks with proper care. Factors like nail growth, hand washing frequency, and activities can affect wear time.

Aftercare: You'll receive aftercare instructions at the end of your appointment. Following these will help maintain your nails for longer.

Touch-ups: If you experience chipping or lifting within 3 days of your appointment, contact me and I'll assess if a complimentary touch-up is appropriate.

Limitation of Liability (Solaris)

The Nail Eclipse Club is not liable for any allergic reactions, nail damage, or other issues arising from salon services, except where caused by our negligence. If you have concerns about products or procedures, please discuss them before your appointment.

Lunaris Press-On Nail Orders

The following terms apply to custom press-on nail orders.

Processing Time & Delivery

Made to order: Every Lunaris press-on set is handcrafted to your chosen size and design. Please allow 5–7 working days for your set to be created and prepared for dispatch.

Shipping confirmation: You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order has been dispatched.

Standard Delivery (Free): All orders include Royal Mail First Class delivery within the UK, free of charge. Estimated delivery time is 1–3 working days after dispatch.

Tracked Delivery (Optional): If you prefer a tracked service, please contact us before placing your order so we can provide a delivery quote and arrange this option for you.

Delivery Area: We currently ship within the UK only. International delivery is not available at this time.

Order Cancellations (Lunaris)

Cancellation window: Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, provided work has not begun.

After production starts: Once production starts, cancellations are no longer possible as each set is custom-made specifically for you.

How to cancel: Email mrshilly.k@gmail.com or call 07399 478002 within 24 hours of ordering.

Returns & Exchanges (Lunaris)

No returns or exchanges: Because each set is custom-made to your specifications and is a hygiene item, returns and exchanges are not possible unless your order arrives damaged or incorrect.

Check sizing carefully: Please ensure you order the correct size. Our sizing kit (£10 with £7.50 credit) is the best way to ensure a perfect fit.

Damaged orders: Contact mrshilly.k@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number. We'll work with you to offer a replacement or partial refund where appropriate.

Lost or delayed parcels: If your parcel hasn't arrived within 10 working days of the expected date, please email us so we can liaise with Royal Mail and resolve the issue.

Delivery Responsibility (Lunaris)

Postal responsibility: Once your order has been dispatched, The Nail Eclipse Club is not responsible for postal delays or items lost in transit by Royal Mail.

Correct address: Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout — we cannot replace items sent to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

Packaging: Each set is packaged carefully to protect your nails during transit. We use minimal and recyclable packaging wherever possible for sustainability.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available for both Solaris salon services and Lunaris press-on orders. View full gift voucher terms.

Key points: Vouchers are valid for 6 months, non-refundable, transferable, and subject to the same cancellation policies (48 hours notice required).

These terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
